Senior School 10-12

The aim of the senior school is to enable all students to learn successfully and reach their potential. Our Senior School team supports all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes for their future pathways. This learning is supported by developing positive relationships in a safe caring environment, excellent communication between staff, students, parents and caregivers, and timely regular feedback to students and their families.

The Senior School curriculum (years 10 to 12) offers a wide range of opportunities for students to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to meet the challenges of 21st century learning. These studies are in line with the Australian Curriculum.

Year 10 students are introduced to the SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) by studying the PLP (Personal Learning Plan) in year 10. This is a compulsory subject like English, Mathematics and Research Project which are studied in year 11.

Through their SACE studies students are able to choose from a wide range of subjects. Most subjects are studied at school however year 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Specialist Mathematics are studied at UniSA (Mawson Lakes campus).

Many students choose to complete their SACE with a VET (Vocational Education Training) component. Students are supported to identify their future pathways and are strongly encouraged to pursue a variety of post school pathways including university, TAFE, apprenticeships and employment.

See our curriculum page for subject offerings available at each year level in the senior school.
